Prior to that, Ben was a Vice President in the Financial Advisory Services practice of a global consulting firm after spending several years with one of the Big Four public accounting firms.

Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and has been the president of the BYU Management Society in Houston since 2010. He is also involved with a number of civic, religious and community initiatives in and around southeast Texas. Ben is a proud Eagle Scout and has served in a number of leadership and support roles in local Scout troops since 2002.

Of utmost importance in Ben’s life is the time he gets to spend with his two young boys. He loves volunteering at their school and he has also gladly given his time as the lead father for the school's "Watch D.O.G.S." program (Dads Of Great Students).
